2 For 1: Mix Spirituality and Relaxation in Bali

October 21 - December 15, 2018

Why Come to Bali, Indonesia
Theme: Crypto & Entrepreneurship

Why choose between beaches and jungles, healthy living and expanding your career and crypto knowledge, when you can have it all?

get the of both worlds

We decided we’re tired of choosing between the beach and jungles of Bali and decided to do both! Spend the first month on the beaches of Canggu before moving an hour inland to Ubud, the spiritual capital of Bali, for the second month.

Bali has long attracted travelers, spiritual gurus, and forward-thinkers. The entrepreneurial community is strong, with lots of support, advice, and networking opportunities for people trying to grow their business and expand their career.

Amazing weather, beautiful water, and picturesque scenery makes for plenty to do outside of work as well.

Bali is considered the ‘Amazon of the Seas’ for its marine biodiversity. Over 600-species of coral, turtles and more than 2000 species of fish are waiting to be discovered.

be than a tourist

The other big thing we look at is community. We don’t want to be a group of foreigners working in our own bubble. We try to incorporate into the local scene the best we can through holding events with local individuals, business, NGOs, and government organizations so we make meaningful connections while we are there. Get ready to move past being just a tourist in a location.

Two locations in Bali mean twice as much adventure.

The first month we will be in Canggu, close to the waters so you can catch some morning surf before starting work for the day. Order a freshly made organic fruit nalu bowl on the back of a motorcycle to the coworking space and you are set to go. Nothing will be out of your reach.

Second month we will be moving towards Ubud so you can experience your own spiritual awakening.

We’ll be staying in beautiful villas surrounded by nature and, of course, has a pool so you don’t lose that tan you’ve been working on at the beach. We’ll be steps away from temples, yoga studies, forests with monkeys, and everything else you need to have the true Bali experience.

Working remotely doesn’t mean you always have to feel like you’re bouncing around and living out of a suitcase. Get ready to hang up your clothes, set up your Nintendo Switch, and put your feet up – you’re home!

We will be working at outpost, one of the premiere coworking spaces in all of asia, in both canggu and ubud. besides the fast wifi and comfortable seats, you can also expect air conditioned working rooms (actually something harder to come by in bali than you would think) and outdoor working spaces so you can take a break in between meetings by dipping your feet in the pool.

our things you have to do in Bali

Tegallalang Rice Terraces : These famous rice field terraces in Ubud  are a UNESCO world heritage site and represent the basic Balinese philosophy of life that prioritizes harmony with nature,  humans and with god.

Tanah Lot is the most iconic temple on the Island. Perched on top of a huge rock and surrounded by the sea with waves constantly crashing onto its base, this place is destined to become your next best Instagram shot.

Ubud Monkey Forest Ubud : We all heard that monkeys can get really cheeky but that doesn’t make them any less adorable. Ubud Monkey Forest has over 115 species of trees and is one of several forests inhabited by cute, grey long-tailed macaques.

Tukad Cepung Waterfall: only recently discovered by travellers, Tukad Cepung Waterfall is one of the newest Bali gems to discover. This is as close to nature as you can get! You will have to climb a flight of steps to get to this beauty, so gear up accordingly.

Goa Gajah : You won’t find any elephants at the “Elephant Cave” but it is an archaeological site of significant historical value with a relic-filled courtyard, rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains.
