Post the video on Instagram and be sure to tag or add @HackerParadise as a collaborator! If you are uncomfortable on camera, feel free to get creative with VoiceOver, animations, or any other fun methods. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and will be announced on July 4, 2024. See T&Cs below. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! Giveaway Terms & COnditions

Prize Details

The prize is a remote work experience in Costa Rica, with lodging and other standard Hacker Paradise trip inclusions, from August 25 – September 21. Flights to Costa Rica and all other expenses not included in our standard trips are not included in the prize.

Exchangeability

This prize cannot be exchanged for another trip or any other form of compensation.

Transferability

If you win but can’t make it or aren’t interested, no worries! You can give your spot to a friend. Share the love and let someone else enjoy the experience.

No Resale

The prize is non-transferable for monetary value and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash.

Refund for Participants

If you’ve already signed up to join Hacker Paradise in Costa Rica and end up being the giveaway winner, we’ll hook you up with a full 100% refund of your trip cost.

Eligibility

The giveaway is open to all participants aged 21 or older who have the ability to work remotely and who have completed all the required steps to enter the giveaway.

If the winner is not already a member of Hacker Paradise, they will be required to schedule a call with us to confirm eligibility. This is to ensure they meet our usual requirements, such as having a remote job, remote project, or being on sabbatical, and to ensure they will positively contribute to our community.

Winner Selection

The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. Applicants who have completed all the required steps to enter the giveaway will be included in a random drawing using a randomizer tool. If you submit a bonus entry by posting a video answering the selected question and tagging @HackerParadise, you will receive 10 additional entries in the random drawing. The decision is final and binding.

Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the giveaway, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional guidelines provided by Hacker Paradise.

Marketing Communications

By submitting the questionnaire to enter the giveaway, you agree to be contacted about this giveaway and to receive marketing communications from Hacker Paradise, including our newsletter.

Notification

The winner will be notified via email and must respond within 3 days to claim the prize. Failure to respond may result in the selection of an alternate winner. Be sure to check your spam folder!

Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in any promotional activities or materials as required by Hacker Paradise.

Modification and Termination

Hacker Paradise reserves the right to modify or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice.
