no wifi,

Most important thing to us when selecting a coworking space is the wifi. Without it, none of us can do our work. You can expect to have consistent, great wifi in addition to the other things you might need to stay productive like a place to take calls, nice ergonomic chairs and desks, nicely lit spaced, and more.

be than a tourist

The other big thing we look at is community. We don’t want to be a group of foreigners working in our own bubble. We try to incorporate into the local scene the best we can through holding events with local individuals, business, NGOs, and government organizations so we make meaningful connections while we are there. Get ready to move past being just a tourist in a location.

our things you have to do in Montevideo

Cafe Brasilero is the oldest cafe in the capital city, and has long been the center of its bohemian culture, attracting artists, writers, and musicians over its 140-year history. This tiny cafe in Montevideo has played a bigger role in Uruguay’s history than its tiny size might indicate.

Mercado Agricola de Montevideo is the city’s tourist trap but it is still worth a visit. The wrought-iron superstructure is far more impressive than the overpriced and bustling parrillas (steak restaurants), bars and food stalls inside.

Chivito is the national dish of Uruguay, It is a thin slice of tender cooked beef steak (churrasco), with mozzarella, tomatoes, mayonnaise, black or green olives, and commonly also bacon, fried or hard-boiled eggs and ham, served as a sandwich in a bun, with French fried potatoes.

Palacio Salvo is the city’s most impressive building that was originally intended to be a hotel. While wandering around the building you can supposedly bump into a three-million-dollar music studio, a radio station, and ladies of the night briskly doing business.

Feria de Tristán Narvaja: You will find the biggest and most popular market in the street of Avenida Tristán Narvaja, after which the market is named. Go for a stroll at the Feria de Tristán Narvaja where you will find antiques, books, used technical equipment, music and rare objects.
